A/ Reservation and prices

The reservation of all properties presented on the website has legal nature of rental for tourist purposes (short rentals) and is concluded by CATANIA TOUR FOOD di Li Gotti Claudio (VAT number 03877530877) as Property Manager on behalf of the respective owners/lessors under the terms agreed with them.

The prices indicated on the website for each property include both the rental fee of the accommodation and the commission recognized to the Property Manager.

All the properties are furnished and have a kitchen or kitchenette equipped (crockery, pots, refrigerator). The equipment of household appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, TV, etc.) is indicated in the description of each individual accommodation. It should be borne in mind that the properties are mostly private and therefore have different characteristics from each other. Therefore, any specific requirements must be clearly stated at the time of booking before defining the contract and put in writing on the confirmation. Pets are generally not allowed, in some rooms they are only accepted on specific request and confirmation.

The tourist tax is a local tax levied on those who spend the night in accommodation in the main Italian municipalities and in the most famous art cities. The tax, if provided by the municipality of reference, is counted for each night and amounts generally vary from 1 € to 5.00 € per person per night. Usually not applicable to children under 12 years of age.

According to the legal provisions in force in Italy, this tax must, as a rule, be paid directly at check-in (together with any payment of the balance). On the "booking confirmation" CATANIA TOUR FOOD will indicate the exact amount of the tourist tax, if any, due and to be paid at the time of payment of the balance of the reservation.

B/ Booking and payment procedure

1 The reservation can be made directly from our website, after checking the availability for the chosen accommodation, entering the dates of stay and the number of people and clicking on Book.

Proceed with entering the required data and go to the payment section.

Make the payment of the deposit (50%) or the full amount if the rate is non-refundable:

Payment of the deposit

Bank transfer (details will be sent at the time of booking);

Online payment by credit card.

You will receive a confirmation email with the booking voucher attached (it is advisable to print it and show it at check-in).

During certain periods of the year there are restrictions (minimum stay and entry day), which may affect your search results; in this case, we invite you to change the dates of stay and/or the day of entry, in order to have a wider choice of solutions.

B.2 Send an availability request

You can book by visiting our website and contacting our offices directly to send us a specific request:

Communicate the acceptance of the quote by email or phone and you will be sent the appropriate booking link. Refine your booking by following the instructions.

C/ Terms of cancellation

The Customer can cancel the reservation up to seven days before the expected arrival date (check-in), by means of a specific written communication that must be received within the said deadline at CATANIA TOUR FOOD. In this case, the Customer will be returned the amount of the entire deposit paid (within seven working days from the notification of withdrawal).

If the cancellation is communicated after this deadline, the amount paid by the customer as a deposit will be retained.

In the case of a non-refundable rate with one-time prepayment, cancellation will result in the loss of the entire amount of the reservation.

In case of no-show at check-in by the Customer, without any prior communication, CATANIA TOUR FOOD will retain the entire deposit received.

D/ External cleaning and maintenance

All accommodation is delivered clean and functional and final cleaning is included in the price.

Upon return the accommodation must be cleaned and ordered as found on arrival.

E/ Responsibility of CATANIA TOUR FOOD

If, for reasons beyond its control or due to force majeure, the Property Manager cannot make available the booked property, a property with similar characteristics will be allocated to the guest, subject to his approval. In the event that the above is not possible, the Property Manager will be obliged to cancel the reservation and refund the amount paid to the guest and compensate any additional costs.

F/ Court of jurisdiction

For everything not expressly provided in this contract, reference is made to the civil code and current legislation.

For any dispute or controversy is only the Court of Catania competent.
